Carbide grinding quills are used in CNC precision grinding applications where reach, rigidity, and accuracy are critical.

As an extension of the spindle, the quill allows access to hard-to-reach features while maintaining stability during operation. Compared to hardened steel, carbide provides significantly greater rigidity, resulting in less deflection under load and improved control when holding tight tolerances.
